OTL Brown Bags are informal opportunities for discussion about teaching-related topics. OTL hosts two Brown Bags: a GTA Brown Bag Series to discuss topics relevant to teaching for graduate teaching assistants, and Blackboard Brown Bags to discuss and exchange ideas for those using Blackboard in their teaching at Wayne State University.
Topics to be discussed are determined by the session leader with participant input. At the GTA Brown Bag graduate teaching assistants may bring a lunch, or partake of the free pizza lunch provided. Those attending a Blackboard Brown Bag at the Warrior Grille may also bring a lunch or purchase from the menu.
OTL sponsors additional Brown Bag meetings on a variety of topics throughout the year; watch your campus mailbox and e-mail for announcements of these special topics and additional Brown Bag events or see our current calendar for exact dates and times of all OTL Brown Bags.
If you would like to lead a Brown Bag at OTL call 577-6448 to discuss topics and scheduling.
