August 26 ~ 28, 2009

One of the major things you will be doing during your tenure in graduate school is furthering your development as a professional in your specific field. This orientation is a great opportunity to start working on your career. Whether you’re interested in adding to a teaching portfolio, resume, or curriculum vitae, we are offering a chance to do so!

Each GTA will be assigned to a small group composed of other GTAs and led by a faculty member or senior teaching assistant in his or her discipline. Each GTA in the group will teach a 5- to 10-minute unit on a concept or problem in his or her discipline to the group.
