As OTL’s Associate Director, some of Kristi’s duties include, developing and implementing OTL programming, facilitating workshops, and conducting classroom observations and focus groups. Kristi holds a masters degree in Instructional Design and is currently pursuing her doctorate in the same area. She has also completed Ph.D. coursework in I/O Psychology. Read more
Shari holds a master's degree in social work and gerontology from WSU. She is also a 2009 MA candidate; currently completing her essay in linguistic anthropology, also from WSU. As an adjunct faculty member with the School of social work, Shari boasts that she has attended nearly 20 OTL workshops! Needless to say, she has found them quite valuable! Some of Shari’s immediate responsibilities will include organizing events, workshops and speakers for GTA’s and new faculty for this summer and the upcoming fall semester, as well as consulting with faculty and leading OTL workshops. Corey Lee is the Web Content Administrator at Office for Teaching and Learning at Wayne State University. His work in web design and development has been a nature extension of his early interest in art & design. From a very young age, he was fascinated by various forms of arts, such as oil painting, sculpture, architecture and ceramics. Julie Thompson Klein is Professor of Humanities at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan (U.S.A.). Holder of a Ph.D. in English from the University of Oregon, Dr. Klein is past president of the Association for Integrative Studies (AIS) and former editor of the AIS journal, Issues in Integrative Studies. Bill Warters, an OTL Faculty Fellow, teaches in the Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution Program housed in WSU's Department of Communication. He is also Director of the Conflict Management in Higher Education Resource Center and Webmaster for the new Conflict Resolution Education Connection http://www.creducation.org clearinghouse. He is a former co-chair of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) Education Section and a past President of the ACR Michigan SE Chapter. LaCesha serves a dual role for the TRC providing Computer Support to staff and also assisting in various Instructional Technology projects. She is responsible for handling hardware and software issues for TRC staff as well as maintaining the Development Lab. As part of her role as an Instructional Technologist LaCesha assists OTL staff in various projects and training as well as creating training modules and assisting with Staff Training & Development to develop online training modules for Library staff. Renuka is a PhD Candidate in the Department of English at WSU and an Instructional Consultant for the OTL. She is currently writing her dissertation on Shakespeare and in addition to early modern studies, her research interests include contemporary philosophy and media studies. Read more
In her role as an OTL instructional consultant, Debbie offers individual consultations and workshops in Blackboard. Debbie is a PhD candidate in Instructional Technology with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Performance Improvement. She holds a masters degree in Business and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). Read more
