Faculty Presentations at the OTL
Written by: Kristi Verbeke
The OTL is proud to present the brown bag Faculty Speaker series during the 2008 Winter semester. All WSU faculty members are invited. Bring your lunch and spend some time discussing teaching-related issues with your colleagues.
All brown bags will be held from 12:00-1:30 in 144 P/K Library (the Simons Room). Current speakers and topics include:

- March 21, 2008: Abigail Butler, Motivating Students with Student-Centered Teaching
- April 4, 2008, Tim Spannaus: Simulations for Classroom Use
- April 8, 2008, Michael Barbour: Today's Student: Deciphering What's Real
Click here for a complete list of all OTL Winter speakers. For more information on each session, click on each link above.
Sessions will also be podcast, with links to each session posted a few days following the presentation. Access previous sessions, such as:
- Mame Jackson, Opening the Doors Between Classroom and Community
- Heather Dillaway, Thoughts on How to be Both Rigorous and Flexible in the Classroom
Since more speakers will be added as the semester progresses, be sure and check the OTL site often for updates. This is an ongoing series, so if you have a topic you'd like to present at the OTL this Winter or next Fall, contact us at otl@wayne.edu.
