Beyond the individual classroom, there are program and university-wide issues that help ensure high quality education for WSU students. WSU academic procedures, programming information, and links to related curriculum are provided below.
All academic programs at WSU are thoroughly reviewed on a regular basis. Details and information on the program review process can be found at http://www.gradschool.wayne.edu/apr/.
All universities are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. A thorough review for continuance of the accreditation is required every ten years. A steering committee and a Web site have been set up in preparation of the visit.
Many of the WSU departments, programs or colleges also are accredited by an outside accrediting body. Annually a summary of all WSU accreditations are compiled and reported to the Board of Governors. The most recent report can be viewed here.
Reports and published information about assessments at WSU are listed here.
