Our book this semester, Generation Me: Why Today’s Young Americans are More Confident, Assertive, Entitled - And More Miserable Than Ever Before, by Dr. Jean Twenge takes a closer look at many of the students we’re seeing in our classes today. They are today's young people, a new generation with sky-high expectations and a need for constant praise and fulfillment.

Academic Integrity

The AI initiative is in response to changing technology and rising incidents of cheating and plagiarism. The OTL, in conjunction with the TRC, Dean of Students Office, University Libraries and the English Dept., is committed to developing a model program to address student and faculty concerns regarding this issue.

Redesign of the TRC Instructional Lab

There is currently a lot of interest in designing classroom settings for maximal learning. The OTL and its TRC partners are currently in the process of redesigning our own instructional lab as a potential model classroom.
